+++ ENGLISH VERSION BELOW +++ Liebe Studierende in Kaiserslautern und Landau, wir möchten hier über den aktuellen Stand zum Deutschland-Semesterticket informieren. Wie bekomme ich das Deutschland-Semesterticket? Das Ticket ist App-basiert (myVRN App) und ist nur in Verbindung mit einem gültigen Lichtbildausweis (z.B. Studierendenausweis, Personalausweis o.Ä.) gültig. Die Aktivierung des Tickets wird im September möglich sein und alle Informationen zur Aktivierung werden euch Anfang September per Rundmail mitgeteilt. In Ausnahmefällen kann das Ticket mit einer Chipkarte verwendet werden, welche in einer Mobilitätszentrale des VRN abgeholt werden kann. Was passiert mit dem aktuellen Semesterticket / Studierendenausweis? Bis zum 30.09.2024 ist weiterhin das aktuelle Semesterticket gültig. Dieses wird zum 30.09. seitens des rnv / VRN / KVV gekündigt. Der Studierendenausweis wird dann nicht mehr als Semesterticket gültig sein. Der Studierendenausweis muss trotzdem weiterhin validiert werden. Ab dem 01.10.2024 wird an beiden Standorten in Kaiserslautern und in Landau das Deutschland Semesterticket gültig, welches denselben Bestimmungen des regulären Deutschlandtickets unterliegt. ACHTUNG: Das Deutschlandticketupgrade auf Basis des aktuellen Semestertickets muss nicht manuell gekündigt werden; die Kündigung nimmt der rnv/VRN/KVV vor. Was mache ich, wenn ich schon ein Deutschland-Ticket habe? Ein individuell bereits erworbenes Deutschland-Ticket sollte bis zum 10.09.24 gekündigt werden, damit die Kündigungsfrist eingehalten wird. Solltest Du ein individuell erworbenes Deutschlandticket Abo besitzen, also kein Upgrade auf das Deutschlandticket mit Basis eines Semestertickets, dann musst Du dieses unbedingt bis zum 10.09. gekündigt haben, weil Du ab dem 01.10. das Seutschland-Semesterticket nutzen kannst und ein individuelles Abonnement so überflüssig wird. Für welche Gruppen gibt es Ausnahmen? Nicht berechtigt, das Ticket zu beziehen sind Gasthörer*innen, Zweithörer*innen, Fernstudierende und Schüler*innen, die als Frühstudierende eingeschrieben sind. Gibt es die Möglichkeit zur Rückerstattung? Folgende Gruppen von Studierenden sind berechtigt, sich den Beitrag für das Semesterticket rückerstatten zu lassen: • Schwerbehinderte Menschen, die nach dem SGB IX Anspruch auf Beförderung haben und den Besitz des Beiblattes zum Schwerbehindertenausweis und der zugehörigen Wertmarke nachweisen, • Exmatrikulation bis zum 30. April (für das betreffende Sommersemester) oder bis zum 31. Oktober (für das betreffende Wintersemester), • beurlaubte Studierende für das jeweilige Urlaubssemester, • Studierende, die nachweislich ein Auslandssemester (Outgoings) antreten, mit einer Mindestdauer von drei Monaten im bezugspflichtigen Semester, • Studierende, die nachweislich weniger als drei Monate im bezugspflichtigen Semester an der RPTU studieren (Incomings), • Studierende, die nachgewiesenermaßen an einer anderen Hochschule in Deutschland ein Verbundticket beziehen, • Personen, die unter die nicht berechtigten Personengruppen fallen, soweit die RPTU die Ausnahmen nach § 1 Absatz 2 nicht grundsätzlich erfasst, • Studierende, die unter die Regelung des § 67 Absatz 4 Satz 1 und 2 des HochSchG fallen, insbesondere im Rahmen von Hochschulverbünden und -kooperationen, sofern das Kooperationsabkommen eine Befreiung vom Bezug eines Semesterticket enthält. How do I get the Deutschland-Semesterticket? The ticket is app-based (myVRN app) and is only valid in conjunction with a valid photo ID (e.g. student ID, identity card or similar). Activation of the ticket will be possible in September and all information on activation will be sent to you by circular mail at the beginning of September. In exceptional cases, the ticket can be used with a chip card, which can be collected from a VRN mobility centre. What happens to the current semester ticket / student ID? The current semester ticket is still valid until 30 September 2024. This will be cancelled by rnv /VRN/KVV on 30 September. The student ID card will then no longer be valid as a semester ticket. However, the student ID card must still be validated. From 1st October 2024, the Deutschland Semester Ticket will be valid at both locations in Kaiserslautern and Landau, which is subject to the same conditions as the regular Deutschland Ticket. ATTENTION: The Deutschlandticket upgrade based on the current semester ticket does not have to be cancelled manually; the cancellation is carried out by the rnv/VRN/KVV. What do I do if I already have a Deutschlandticket? An individually purchased Deutschlandticket should be cancelled by 10.09.24 in order to meet the cancellation deadline. If you have an individually purchased Deutschlandticket subscription, i.e. not an upgrade to the Deutschlandticket based on a Semesterticket, then you must have cancelled it by 10.09. because you can use the Deutsch-Semesterticket from 01.10. and an individual subscription will therefore be superfluous. For which groups are there exceptions? Guest students, secondary students, distance learning students and pupils enrolled as early students are not entitled to the ticket. Is there a possibility of a refund? The following groups of students are entitled to a refund of the semester ticket fee: • Severely disabled persons who are entitled to transport in accordance with SGB IX and who can prove that they are in possession of the supplementary sheet to their severely disabled person's pass and the corresponding token, • De-registration by 30 April (for the relevant summer semester) or by 31 October (for the relevant winter semester), • Students on leave of absence for the respective semester of leave, • Students who demonstrably spend a semester abroad (outgoings) with a minimum duration of three months in the semester subject to payment, • Students who can prove that they are studying at RPTU for less than three months in the semester in which they are required to attend (incomings), • Students who can prove that they are in receipt of a network ticket at another university in Germany, • Persons who fall under the non-authorised groups of persons, insofar as the RPTU does not generally cover the exceptions in accordance with Section 1 (2), or • Students who fall under the regulation of § 67 paragraph 4 sentences 1 and 2 of the HochSchG, in particular within the framework of university alliances and cooperations, provided that the cooperation agreement contains an exemption from the purchase of a semester ticket.
